A rare full-moon night shot of Yosemite Valley, taken from the Tunnel View Overlook on 41 coming into the park. We were lucky enough to be there at just the right time for a moon-lit night tour, which they only do during the summer when the moon is near full. My new Panasonic ZS7 turned in a surprisingly good result here on a 60 second exposure (the max possible in Manual mode). My dSLR was unfortunately not cooperating, but the ZS7 did just fine in its stead. Very basic post processing, only minor brightness/contrast and resize. Post-dated to the day it was taken. |
